Call for Picture Book Proposals - Open

Bananadog Books is accepting submissions of children's picture book proposals. We invite children, ages 8-12 (or thereabouts) to submit proposals via our submission form.  
Guidelines:

• Child authors only at this time. The 8-12 year age range is not set in stone, but we're looking for kids who want to create stories.

• Please give us an outline of your proposed story. Tell us the main characters and the main idea for the plot. How does it end? Is there a lesson to be learned?  You don't have to be too detailed at this time.

• Please also give us a brief (less than 100 words) sample of your writing. It could be this project, or something else you've written.

If your work is selected  you will be assigned a professional adult editor who will work with you to develop and craft your story, and a professional adult illustrator to add artwork to your words.
